Swoon's Kickstarter Project: Braddock Tiles

Swoon and the Heliotrope Foundation have launched a Kickstarter Project to welcome Braddock Tiles into the world. 

All funds raised go to building a ceramic studio in North Braddock, PA that will hire & train local young adults to hand-make 20,000 roofing tiles.

Braddock Tiles was founded by Caledonia Curry, also known as Swoon, to open a ceramic tile-making shop, with jobs for local residents in North Braddock, PA. It will restore the roof of the Jones Street Church with handmade tiles and help launch a community arts center.

The Heliotrope Foundation is proud to offer these handmade scarves as one of our Kickstarter rewards. They are a collaboration between Swoon and Zarif Design, and are woven, dyed, and screened by hand in Kabul, Afghanistan. Please see below for the available colorways.
